Is your dog looking to meet a friend? Or just play all day?

If so, you might consider bringing your dog to school!

DOGS RULE! Day Care & School is my favorite- and my dog's favorite for that matter.

I hate leaving my dog at home while I am at a work...so a couple of times a week, I take her to Dogs Rule! I conveniently drop her off in the morning and pick her up after work. While I am busy at work, my pup is playing with other dogs and expending all her energy- great for both of us at the end of a long day.

She loves being able to run around and play with the other dogs, and of course taking a break to nap too.

The staff here has always been extra nice and I can't say enough great things about my experience with Dogs Rule.

They are located at 2265 Central Ave. in Memphis. Do yourself a favor and call them today!

Pet owners...beware...

While surfing the web, I came across this article on http://petsitters.sittercity.com/...very useful info. Make sure to pay attention and keep these items out of your puppy's reach!

Top 10 Items Removed from Pets

“What are you chewing?” “Get that out of your mouth!” “Where did you even FIND that?” If you’re a pet owner, you’ve probably uttered (shouted?) one of these phrases before. Dogs and cats alike have the tendency to chow down on anything we leave lying around, so we wanted to share with you the top ten items surgically removed from pets.

10. Sticks
9. Hair ties and ribbons
8. Bones
7. Corn cobs
6. Chew toys
5. Balls
4. Rocks
3. Panty hose
2. Underwear

And the number one item?
1. Socks

So, please, take extra care with any of these items and others you may have floating around; and whether you’re a petsitter or pet owner, keep close eye on the pets so that you can avoid a traumatizing (and expensive) vet trip that may require surgery.

Dogs on the go

I am always traveling with my puppy and want to make sure she is
comfortable wherever I go...and I don't always want to rely on my
friends to provide my dog with a place to sleep...so I set out to find
a solution...and here is what I came up with!

This travel bag is always with me in the trunk of my car, just in
case. Even when I go camping, I can bring this with me and my dog
will be comfortable.

I'd suggest checking it out...

St. Jude's Dog Show

What a fun experience!  Last weekend Reilly and the Dog's Life Memphis group headed out to the Memphis Agricultural Center to experience the St. Jude's Dog Show.  Talk about a lot to see!  Dog toys, clothes, treats, photographers and food...you could find anything dog related.  Our friends at Guardian Angel Pet Rescue were amongst the many rescue groups represented.

We really enjoyed watching the dogs perform in the coordinated speed races.  The level of skills these dogs had was amazing.  There was even an outdoor track where dogs could test their speed as they chased a bag around.  Some dogs did not trust the bag or became distracted as they ran the course, other demonstrated their speed as they sprinted after the prize.  What an enjoyable time.

Dog Lovers Unite!

While browsing the internet to explore doggie blogs and find other dog lovers, I came across this site- which I love! The site offers many different options, including an editor's blog, a shopping page, a gallery where you can upload your own favorite pictures, and most importantly- make a doggie profile of your own.

On this site, pet owners exchange ideas, thoughts, stories, pictures and tips...what better way to network with your pet owning neighbors?

One more way that dog owners are networking, no matter where they live ;)

Thanks, DoggySnaps.com!
